Ros started to dance as a child, taking exams with what was then the I.D.M.A. (later to amalgamate with the D.T.A and become the I.D.T.A). She stopped during her early adult life to raise her three children, all of who danced, the youngest being one of the top youth competitors in the U.K.
Ros came back to dancing in 1987 and took her professional teaching exam in 1989 and never looked back. She now teaches pupils of all ages from 2½ years to adult.
